Christophe Galtier speaks on Mbappé “misunderstanding”

Paris Saint-Germain manager Christophe Galtier has revealed that the issue involving Kylian Mbappé’s dissatisfaction with a recent marketing campaign has been resolved. Mbappé had expressed his displeasure with the campaign, which featured only him and excluded other PSG players, including the likes of Neymar and Messi.

Speaking to the media, Galtier said that Mbappé was in good spirits during training and had cut short the session due to a minor hip injury. However, Galtier confirmed that the injury would not affect Mbappé’s availability for the upcoming match against Nice.

Galtier also acknowledged that there had been discussions between Mbappé and the club’s management regarding the marketing campaign. He described the incident as a “misunderstanding” and stated that it had been resolved. “It is very difficult to express myself, it obviously concerns Kylian and the club.”

The marketing campaign in question had raised eyebrows among PSG fans and football pundits alike. The video featured shots of young PSG players, including Warren Zaïre-Emery, Ismaël Gharbi, and Nuno Mendes, but did not include any footage of Neymar or Messi. This has led to speculation about the future of these two star players at the club.
