Bayern keen to offload Sabitzer, player wants to stay

By Rune Gjerulff

Bild reports that FC Bayern remain keen to offload Marcel Sabitzer, although the player wants to stay.

Marcel Sabitzer’s agent, Roger Wittmann, has said several times that his client wants to stay and fight for his place at Bayern München after a disappointing first season at Allianz Arena.

Bayern, however, have other plans and want to offload the Austrian international, according to Bild.

Per the German tabloid, the Bavarians would be prepared to let the 28-year-old for a fee around €15 million, which is what they paid to sign Sabitzer from RB Leipzig around a year ago.

Sabitzer has made 30 appearances for Bayern so far with one goal and one assist to his name.
