RMC Sport report tonight that interest in Nice midfielder Khéphren Thuram is at an all-time high, with the 22-year-old midfielder potentially moving on from Les Aiglons this summer.
The former Monaco man joined his brother Marcus in the French senior national team for the first time last week, making his debut in a 4-0 win over The Netherlands a week ago.
Thuram was previously a target for Paris Saint-Germain, and although he remains on the Ligue 1 leaders’ radars, a midfield recruit is not the priority for the upcoming transfer window.
Eintracht Frankfurt had also shown an interest, but the Germans are now aware that they have missed their chance to sign him, given the interest he is now attracting from more high-profile outfits. These include fellow Bundesliga side RB Leipzig, but also several Premier League clubs including Newcastle, Manchester United and Liverpool.
The midfielder has two goals and four assists in 28 appearances this season, and is under contract until 2025. A summer move is expected to earn Nice around €40m, should Thuram choose to move on after four years with the club.
