Borussia Dortmund could face competition from Manchester City in their bid to sign David Raum from Hoffenheim.
Manchester City are apparently interested in Hoffenheim and Germany left-back David Raum.
After being contacted by Hoffenheim about 25-year-old centre-back Ko Itakura, City inquired about the availability of Raum, according to 90min.de.
‘The Citizens’ could turn their attention to Raum, should they fail to sign Marc Cucurella from Brighton & Hove Albion.
However, City are not the only club interested in the 24-year-old Hoffenheim left-back, with Borussia Dortmund currently looking like the most likely destination if he leaves this summer.
Raum had an impressive first season in the Bundesliga, scoring three goals and providing 13 assists in 32 games, after joining Hoffenheim on a free transfer from Greuther Fürth.
