French side Olympique Marseille are interested in signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Alex Witsel, according to Kicker.
The Belgian international is currently searching for a new team as his contract is due to run out at the end of June.
It’s reported that Witsel (33) would be Marseille’s ideal replacement for Boubacar Kamara who is moving to Premier League side Aston Villa.
Reports suggest that a decision on the Belgian’s future could be made this week as he will have to decide between a couple of top European teams.
As well as Marseille, Spanish side Atlético Madrid are also said to be interested.
Witsel has been at Dortmund since 2018 making 105 appearances and scoring 10 times.
