Tottenham are the only club Brighton midfielder Yves Bissouma wants to join, claims transfer insider Dean Jones.
The 25-year-old is set to become Antonio Conte’s latest signing at Hotspur Way, and Jones says he is only interested in moving to north London despite other clubs being keen on his signature.
What is the latest news involving Bissouma?
Earlier, The Times broke the story that Tottenham had agreed a £25m fee with Brighton for Bissouma.
Prior, it had looked like Aston Villa would be his next club, with manager Steven Gerrard even revealing that the Midlands outfit had a bid rejected for him in January.
However, Bissouma now looks to be heading to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in another boost to Conte.
While the transfer window only opened last week, the Italian has already managed to sign both Ivan Perisic and Fraser Forster.

What has Jones said about Bissouma to Tottenham?
Jones has told GIVEMESPORT that Bissouma’s heart is set on joining Tottenham this summer despite interest from elsewhere.
Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: “There was competition to get him but the outcome is helped by the fact Bissouma decided there was only one offer he was interested in accepting: Tottenham’s.
“This early move is a great sign for the fans, to know that they are pushing for deals like this with almost no public fuss. This will be a seriously good signing.”
What will Bissouma bring to Tottenham?
Hailed as an “exceptional footballer” by former Spurs and England striker Gary Lineker, Bissouma is going to add plenty of steel to Conte’s side.
As per FBref, the Mali international has ranked in the 87th percentile for tackles and the 86th for interceptions among midfielders over the last year. He is also in the 90th percentile for dribbles completed, showing that he is a player who can drive with the ball, too.
It is a lofty comparison, but in Bissouma, Conte may feel he is getting a midfielder similar to N’Golo Kante, who was so important for him during his time as Chelsea manager.
And if the Brighton man turns out to be half the player that the World Cup winner is, then Tottenham will no doubt be pleased with their acquisition.
Ultimately, with Perisic already through the door and Bissouma set to follow, it is quite an exciting time to be a Spurs supporter right now.
