Bayern dismantle Bochum 7-0 behind Mane’s brace

As confirmed by Bayern Munich coach Julian Nagelsmann, Sadio Mané will be back in the squad to face Union Berlin this Sunday.

A starting place comes too early for Mané, who has been out with an injury since November, but the Senegalese star is fit enough to be in squad.

“Sadio Mané won’t be able to start, but we’re delighted to have him as an option again,” said Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann also revealed that Thomas Müller will start this time after he was taken off early in ladt week’s 3-2 defeat to Gladbach as a result of Dayot Upamecano’s red card.

“Thomas is a very experienced player. He was told why the decision was made. I spoke to him for a long time, of course he was not happy. But he’s very professional. He will start on Sunday. He’s a very important player.”
