RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose fully expects Josko Gvardiol to stay beyond the end of the season despite speculation over the defender’s future at Red Bull Arena.
“He will still be an RB Leipzig player next season,” Rose emphasized after yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Manchester City in the Champions League.
Gvardiol recently told The Times that he dreams of playing in the Premier League and that he “really struggled” after Leipzig didn’t allow him to join Chelsea last summer.
“He’s happy here. He said he wants to play in the Premier League, but he hasn’t said when,” noted Rose.
