Sadio Mané returned to team training at Bayern Munich’s Säbener Straße on Sunday morning.
Mané returned to the training pitch on Thursday with rehabilitation coach Thomas Wilhelmi and Prof. Dr. Holger Broich and has since resumed full training as Bayern Munich prepare for next weekend’s game against Union Berlin.
The Senegalese forward has been out for three months with a tendon rupture on the head of the right fibula that saw Mané miss the World Cup – he picked up the injury against Werder Bremen on November 8 and hasn’t played since.

It’s unlikely that Mané will be available for that game after such a long time out, but the 30-year-old is expected to be fit enough for the Champions League second-leg against PSG on March 8.
Bayern Munich’s lead is now just one point, but they could lose that should Union Berlin beat Schalke on Sunday afternoon. Borussia Dortmund could also go level with the Rekordmeister should they beat Hertha Berlin.
