Gladbach are sweating over the fitness of a number of players ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Bayern Munich.
“Julian Weigl didn’t train today due to a stomach bug, while Luca Netz indicated he had a thigh issue after training yesterday. As a result, both of them are doubts for this weekend,” revealed Gladbach coach Daniel Farke at today’s press conference.
“Marcus Thuram and Joe Scally haven’t been able to train with the team this week. We need to see how our final session on Friday goes. I’m optimistic about Joe, but it’s a different story for Marcus. We’ll be cutting it close.”
