RB Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl is optimistic that it will be possible to extend Dani Olmo’s contract beyond 2024.
Olmo has been linked with some of Europe’s top clubs, but Eberl is hopeful that he can tie the Spanish midfielder down to a new long-term deal.
“Dani knows what he has at this club,” Eberl is quoted as saying by Leipziger Volkszeitung.
“I know hid dad quite well, and I’m trying to use that to my advantage. Let’s see if it works out. Dani is a top player with fantastic potential.
“We’ve had three good talks so far. I have a good feeling.”
