Xavi Hernández will have a full squad available for Barcelona’s Europa League match against Manchester United, with the exception of two injured players: Ousmane Dembélé and Sergio Busquets, report AS.
Aside from these two notable absentees, there is one player who is on the verge of suspension. If Gavi picks up a yellow card on Thursday, he will not be able to take part in the return leg at Old Trafford on 23 February. The midfielder has two yellow cards from the Champions League group stage, which are included in the Europa League.
For the return leg, Xavi will have Sergio Busquets back. The defensive midfielder suffered a sprained left ankle ten days ago against Sevilla at Camp Nou. Dembélé is still missing but is expected to be fit for El Clásico on 19 March.
Right now there are four players with one yellow card in Europe, so they would have to see two more to serve suspensions. They are Sergi Roberto, Dembélé, Pablo Torre and Ferran Torres.
In the training session prior to the match against United, three players from the youth team trained with the first team: midfielder Marc Casadó and forwards Angel Alarcón and Estanis Pedrola.
