Patrik Schick could make his long-awaited return from injury against Monaco tomorrow, with Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso confirming that the Czech striker will be in his squad.

After months on the sidelines due to an injury, Patrik Schick will be back in Bayer Leverkusen’s squad for their Europa League play off clash with AS Monaco at BayArena tomorrow evening.
“Patrik Schick feels better, he will be in the squad tomorrow,” revealed Bayer 04 coach Xabi Alonso at the pre-match press conference.
“We still need some patience and will decide during the game how many minutes he will play.”
After scoring 24 Bundesliga goals last season, Schick has found the net just two times in 11 league games through the 2022/23 campaign so far.
