Hoffenheim have confirmed the departure of Michael Rechner, who has been appointed new goalkeeping coach at Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich have found the replacement for Toni Tapalovic, who was relieved of his duties as goalkeeping coach last month.
42-year-old Michael Rechner leaves his job as goalkeeping coach at TSG Hoffenheim to take a similar role at Bayern.
“Michael’s move to Munich marks the end of nothing less than an era here,” TSG director of professional football Alexander Rosen said on the departure of Rechner, who joined Hoffenheim in 2008.
“Michael has been a constant at our club for over a decade and a half. He shaped generations of goalkeepers through his work in U19, U23 and the professional team. His expertise, creativity and dedication made him one of the most renowned experts in his field. He is a ‘better-maker’,” added Rosen.
