Michael Pfeiffer of Germany’s Kicker Magazine reports that Eintracht Frankfurt are strongly considering bringing in Hoffenheim’s Dennis Geiger as a replacement for likely-to-depart midfielders Daichi Kamada and Djibril Sow.
Geiger and 1. FC Köln midfielder Ellyes Skhiri appear to be the top two priority acquisitions of SGE sportig director Markus Krösche.
Geiger may yet extend with his current club; the only organization the Mosbach-native has played for in his entire professional career. A short move over to Hessen from Sinsheim could still potentially appeal to the 24-year-old; particularly if he is promised a role in the squad of a more successful club.
