RB Leipzig might have to manage without their captain when they face Union Berlin in a top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
The Hungarian international hasn’t trained with his teammates since Sunday, as he’s being prepared to make a potentially life-saving stem cell donation on Wednesday.
As a result thereof, Orban could miss the game on Saturday, with Bild claiming that he has been advised to take a break from sport of up to 10 days after the donation depending on how his body reacts.
“Of course it’s possible that I’ll miss the game against Union – all sporting ambitions in this case are secondary,” Orban is quoted as saying by Bild.
“Anyone who knows me knows that I will do everything I can to quickly join the team again.”
