Former RB Leipzig head coach Domenico Tedesco has been linked with a move to TSG Hoffenheim, according to Kicker.
On Monday, Hoffenheim confirmed the dismissal of head coach André Breitenreiter with immediate effect. The 49-year-old was appointed in the summer and had a contract until 2024.
Breitenreiter was appointed after winning the Swiss title with FC Zurich. After six games, Hoffenheim were fourth but have picked up just seven points in 13 games since. TSG are now down in 14th, three points above the relegation playoff, following their 5-2 defeat against relegation rivals VfL Bochum.
As reported by Kicker, former RB Leipzig coach Tedesco has now been linked with a possible move to Hoffenheim. The 37-year-old has previously coached TSG U17s and U19s before moving to Erzgebirge Aue in 2017.
As well as being linked with the Hoffenheim job, Tedcesco has also been mentioned as the potential successor to Roberto Martinez as Belgium national team head coach.
