German football magazine Kicker is reporting that Tiago Tomas is unlikely to stay at Stuttgart beyond the end of the season.
Tomas joined Stuttgart from Sporting CP a year ago on a loan deal until the summer, which includes an option to buy of €15 million.
With Stuttgart looking very unlikely to trigger the clause, a further loan could be an option at best.
However, neither Tomas nor Sporting CP are fully satisfied with his development so far, and he’s therefore expected to head back to Portugal.
