Hoffenheim coach André Breitenreiter has lavished praise on new signings John Anthony Brooks, Thomas Delaney and Kasper Dolberg ahead of Saturday’s Bundesliga match against Bochum.

“#Brooks and Delaney have a huge presence on the pitch. They both sometimes commit fouls, give instructions and battle hard. This presence is good for us, everyone senses it,” Breitenreiter told reporters.

Dolberg scored his first goal in a Hoffenheim shirt, coming on as a substitute in Wednesday’s 3-1 DFB-Pokal defeat against RB Leipzig, and Breitenreiter was very pleased with the Dane’s performance.

“Kasper was alert and committed after coming on. He helped out coming back and up top, he was rewarded with a goal. They are the basics that I expect from every player.”
