Kevin Trapp has committed himself to Eintracht Frankfurt by extending his contract until 2026. The new deal includes an option to extend by a further year.
“Everyone knows how much this club means to me and that I feel at home in Frankfurt. I am happy that I will continue to be a part of the Eintracht family,” stated Trapp after signing his new contract.
“We have already experienced a lot together and still have a lot to do. The club’s ambitions are one hundred percent the same as mine and I’m eager to continue giving my all for Eintracht Frankfurt.”
Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche commented:
“Kevin Trapp is an absolute figure of identification and represents Eintracht Frankfurt like hardly anyone else. His outstanding goalkeeping and personality make him an indispensable part of our team and our club.
“From my point of view, we now have the best German goalkeeper between our posts in the long term. That makes us proud.”
