While FC Bayern München may still be without Sadio Mané for their upcoming Champions’ League clash against Paris St. Germain, the French Champions will also find themselves shorthanded in twelve days time.

FC Bayern München have their own injury concerns heading into a crucial Champions’ League first-leg encounter in twelve days’ time, but the German record champions learned today that they will face a team similarly shorthanded. French superstar Kylian Mbappé suffered a muscle tear in PSG’s 3-1 win over Montpellier last night.
On Thursday, the Ligue 1 side confirmed that Mbappé is set to miss three weeks with the injury. There are also medium-term doubts about Sergio Ramos, subbed off shortly after Mbappé in the first half with complaints of dizziness. Bayern and PSG are set to play the first-leg of their round-of-16 clash on February 14th.
Bayern themselves snapped a three-game-winless run with a 4-0 victory over FSV Mainz 05 in the DFB-Pokal’s round-of-16 last night. FCB trainer Julian Nagelsmann debuted a new back-three with the newly-acquired Joao Cancelo and Kingsley Coman functioning as advanced wingbacks. Joshua Kimmich functioned as a sweeper while Alphonso Davies took a seat on the bench.
