Bayern Munich wonderkid Jamal Musiala has revealed he looked up to Lionel Messi and Neymar as a kid.
“Growing up, I watched a lot of Messi videos and Neymar as well,” the 19-year-old said in an interview with Bundesliga.com.
“It always amazed me how they went into the dribbles and it was always entertaining to watch them play.”
Asked how he would describe his style of play, Musiala responded:
“I just try to have fun on the pitch and to be as free as possible. I go into dribbles and do whatever I can to help the team win.”
Musiala has featured 22 times for Bayern this season with 12 goals and 10 assists to his name.
