Roma have left out want away midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo ahead of their clash against La Spezia during the weekend.
According to a report from Alfredo Pedulla, the situation has worsened so much between the Giallorossi managerial contingent and Zaniolo that Jose Mourinho has been compelled to leave the Italian out of the game. The decision is set to be carried out for the next few games until an agreement is reached with a club to sell the player.
Premier League outfits Tottenham has currently the front-runners in the race to sign the attacking midfielder and they are the only club that can match Roma’s asking price of around €40 million.
It has already been reported that the Giallorossi will aim to offload the unsettled player within the next few days to yield a sizeable transfer fee without compromising a depreciation in summer. Roma will certainly not want an unhappy player in the sidelines for the rest of the season and the best option lies in a move for the player to the Premier League.
