Everton are ‘monitoring’ Villarreal star Arnaut Danjuma as Frank Lampard looks to bolster his Goodison Park squad, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport.
The Toffees are currently embroiled in a Premier League relegation battle and, while looking to stave off the drop into the Championship, reinforcements could be drafted in ahead of the fast-approaching January window deadline.

Everton transfer news – Arnaut Danjuma
According to MailOnline, Everton are among a string of Premier League clubs looking to offer Danjuma a route out of Villarreal.
The report suggests the Toffees have been joined by Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Bournemouth in the hunt for the winger’s signature after he has been made available for loan.
Respected journalist Romano recently told GiveMeSport that Everton are pushing to get a deal for Danjuma over the line amid additional interest from Nottingham Forest.
The 25-year-old has flown into the country to hold discussions with suitors after being given permission by Villarreal to find a new home for the remainder of the season.
Danjuma has also worked his way onto the radar of Ligue 1 outfit Rennes, while a permanent transfer will only be sanctioned for a fee of £35million.
What has Fabrizio Romano said about Danjuma?
Romano understands that Everton are continuing to keep tabs on Danjuma’s situation and a switch is possible after a disagreement at Villarreal.
The transfer guru believes the Toffees could look to complete a string of deals before the winter window slams shut at the end of the month.
Romano told GiveMeSport: “Danjuma is a player they are monitoring. He could be on the move because he is breaking his relationship with Villarreal and this is why there are many clubs interested in signing him.
“I think Everton will be really busy before the end of the window.”

Would Danjuma be a good signing for Everton?
Danjuma has found the back of the net 59 times and registered a further 33 assists over the course of his senior club career, according to Transfermarkt.
That will be a huge attraction for Everton as they have been struggling in the final third of the pitch this season, with Wolverhampton Wanderers being the only Premier League side to have scored less goals.
Danjuma already has Premier League experience, thanks to making 14 appearances during his time on Bournemouth’s books, and that could be key as it means he would not need time to adjust to the rigours of the English top flight.
Sofascore statistics show the Netherlands international also averaged 2.3 shots per game and scored six goals during Villarreal’s run to the Champions League semi-finals last term.
Danjuma, who has been described as ‘explosive’ by former England international midfielder Owen Hargreaves, would undoubtedly be an astute addition to Everton’s squad.
