Manchester United ace Facundo Pellistri has gained interest from ‘around the world’ but Erik ten Hag has doubts over sanctioning his Old Trafford exit, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has told GiveMeSport.
The winger has worked his way onto the radar of several clubs and could leave the Red Devils ahead of the winter deadline at the end of the month.

Man United transfer news – Facundo Pellistri
According to United Muppetiers, further discussions are set to take place over Pellistri’s future after he has been targeted during the January transfer window.
The report suggests Manchester United and boss ten Hag want to keep the Uruguay international on the club’s books and there are plans to put a new long-term contract on the table.
Pellistri’s £27,000-per-week contract still has two-and-a-half years to run, leaving the Red Devils in a strong negotiating position.
Championship side Watford are among the clubs interested in signing the 21-year-old on loan for the remainder of the season, while La Liga outfit Valencia are also weighing up whether to make an approach.
But Pellistri is not interested in sealing a temporary move and, instead, is keen to complete a permanent transfer away from Old Trafford.
What has Fabrizio Romano said about Pellistri?
Romano understands that Pellistri has gained the attention of clubs worldwide and he has a host of options ahead of the fast-approaching transfer deadline.
But the respected journalist is aware that Manchester United have doubts over whether to sanction a mid-season departure for the South American.
Romano told GiveMeSport: “There are some clubs around the world, not just in Europe, interested in a potential loan deal.
“But Manchester United, at the moment, are not that convinced to let him go.”

Should Man United send Pellistri out on loan?
Pellistri has made 73 appearances during the early stages of his senior club career, according to Transfermarkt, but only one of those outings have come in Manchester United’s colours.
He finally made his Red Devils debut during the Carabao Cup win over Charlton Athletic earlier this month, having been an unused substitute 15 times, and grabbed an assist in his six-minute cameo.
Ten Hag showered Pellistri with praise after playing his part in Manchester United advancing to the semi-finals, with the Dutchman claiming the youngster’s ‘progress is really good’ and he has a bright future ahead of him.
With that being the case, it would come as a surprise if the former Penarol man sealed a permanent transfer, but a loan move could be beneficial for all parties while he is down the pecking order in the Premier League.
Sofascore statistics show Pellistri averaged 1.3 key passes per outing at the World Cup and the Uruguyuan could boost his confidence further by enjoying a productive second half of the season away from Manchester United.
