Hertha BSC have completed the signing of Florian Niederlechner from Augsburg with immediate effect.
Niederlechner was due to join Hertha on a free transfer in the summer, but will now make the switch to Berlin right away instead, having penned a deal until 2025.
“We are glad that we were able to implement the transfer planned for the summer at short notice during this transfer period and are looking forward to the qualities that Florian can bring to us in the upcoming Bundesliga games this season,” Hertha managing director for sport Fredi Bobic commented.
The 32-year-old striker made 107 appearances for Augsburg with 30 goals and 21 assists to his name.
