RB Leipzig sporting director Max Eberl has practically confirmed reports that Christopher Nkunku will be leaving to join Chelsea in the summer.
Responding to reports that Nkunku’s transfer to Chelsea is already in place, Eberl told Bild TV:
“With Christopher Nkunku, unfortunately, things are quite clear with Chelsea FC.”
As for Konrad Laimer, who is expected to join Bayern Munich when his contract expires in the summer, and Dani Olmo, who has been linked with a move to his home country, Spain, Eberl said:
“I’ll fight for both of them until it’s really decided. But as long as there’s a one percent chance, I’ll do anything to keep the two guys.”
