Barcelona midfielder Franck Kessie wants a move to Inter, amidst talk of a swap deal involving the two sides for the Ivorian and Marcelo Brozovic.
Kessie has already rejected Tottenham, it has been reported, but it was suggested that he might be tempted by the idea of returning to Italy with Inter.
Alfredo Pedulla has now reported that it indeed is the case and the midfielder would like to join Inter, who are at the top of the list of clubs he would like to join this month. He has had two proposals – one from the Premier League and one from elsewhere, but he has asked for time because he is waiting for Inter’s offer.
If Inter accept the idea of a swap deal involving Brozovic with Barcelona, it would be a turning point in the move. Financial solutions can be found by the two clubs and the solution could well help Barcelona earn some financial balance. For Inter, it would be an acknowledgement of the fact that Hakan Calhangolu is playing very well in a deeper role.
The Supercoppa Italiana takes place on Wednesday and developments can take place after that.
