Sky Germany reports that Marcus Thuram should be fit enough to make the squad for Gladbach’s first Bundesliga game of 2023 against Bayer Leverkusen this Sunday despite recently picking up a knock.
Much to the concern of Gladbach coach Daniel Farke, Thuram was forced off during a 0-1 friendly defeat against St. Pauli last week.
However, ‘Die Fohlen’ can now breathe a sigh of relief, according to Sky Germany, who claims the injury isn’t serious and that the Frenchman could be in the squad against Leverkusen.
Thuram is Gladbach’s leading goalscorer this season, having racked up 13 goals and four assists in 17 matches.
