Arsenal cruised their way to a 2-0 win in this afternoon’s 193rd instalment of the North London derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
An early own goal from Hugo Lloris after a Bukayo Saka cross set the tone for the match, as Tottenham failed to produce any significant threat throughout the 90 minutes of the match.
Martin Odegaard, who is the highest-scoring midfielder across the top flight, added to his tally by netting in the 36th minute to seal Arsenal’s victory before the interval. It is the Norweigan’s eighth goal of the season.

Next up for the Gunners
After Manchester City’s loss in the Manchester derby yesterday, the Gunners are now eight points clear at the top of the Premier League.
They face Manchester United next, who have won their past five matches and handed Arsenal their only loss of the 2022/2023 league campaign.
If Mikel Arteta can continue this outstanding form, Arsenal could lift their first league title since 2004.
