Real Betis have reached an agreement with Athletico Paranaense to sign Abner Vinícius, reports Fabrizio Romano.
The Andaluz club have been in the market to find a new left-back following the departure of Álex Moreno to Aston Villa earlier this week.
It appears as though Los Verdiblancos have found their man and they have already agreed a deal to sign Abner Vinícius from Athletico Paranaense. According to the agreement, Real Betis will pay €7m to secure the services of the Brazilian, which could rise to a higher fee with add-ons.
Abner Vinícius is expected to sign a long-term contract, and is set to fly to Spain to finalise the deal. Athletico Paranaense are to keep 30% of a future sale fee.
This will be the 22-year-old’s first European club and he will be most likely battling it out with Juan Miranda to decide who will be Real Betis’ starting right-back.
