Valencia have announced the appointment of their new manager Gennaro Gattuso on a two-year deal until 2024.
The Italian coach arrived in the Spanish city on Wednesday ahead of putting pen to paper with Los Che.
He replaces José Bordalás, who was sacked after just one season in charge at Mestalla.
Gattuso gave his thoughts on his new role at Valencia airport on Wednesday.
“It’s the first time I’ve been to Valencia. I’m very happy, very proud. I have signed a contract with a team that has a lot of history. Tomorrow we will talk about everything. I’m very happy, the fans are looking forward to it and I’m looking forward to it. Tomorrow we are going to talk about everything and then we are going to work very hard,” the Italian said.
