An early return to Munich seems unlikely for Alexander Nübel, who has confirmed that Monaco don’t want to send him back to Bayern already.

Alexander Nübel has revealed that AS Monaco don’t want to let him return to his parent club Bayern Munich early.
Nübel is on loan at Monaco until the end of the season, but Bayern have been looking into the possibility of cutting the deal short following Manuel Neuer’s season-ending leg injury.
However, as confirmed by Nübel, Monaco don’t want to let him go in the middle of the season.
“It’s normal that there are rumors, as I’m on loan from Bayern. I have a contract until 2025. But right now I’m a Monaco player, and that’s the most important thing. We have a difficult second half of the season ahead. I’m fully focused on Monaco,” Nübel told reporters.
“The transfer window is open until the end of January, anything can happen in football. The decision lies with Monaco.
“They told me they don’t want to give me up in winter. I didn’t have any conversations with Bayern. I’m happy here and that’s why I’m still here.”
