Celtic full-back Josip Juranovic is now edging closer to moving to Serie A newboys Monza this month.
It was reported recently that Monza made contact with the entourage of Juranovic recently and Celtic’s asking price of about €8 million was also revealed.
Marco Conterio has reported further about the Croatian, saying that Adriano Galliani’s club have decided to accelerate after their impressive draw against Inter last night. Juranovic knows about interest from Monza and he would be interested in joining the side and play in Serie A.
An agreement with Celtic is not said to be far off but there is still said to be a minor gap in valuation. Monza are offering an initial loan with the option to buy Juranovic permanently for €7 million in the summer. They are facing competition from a host of clubs right now, but more contacts by Galliani are expected to be made soon in an attempt to close the deal.
