Yann Sommer is set to resume talks with Gladbach about a possible contract extension.

Yann Sommer has broken silence on the continued speculation about his future.
The Gladbach goalkeeper, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been stalling on a new deal, with the likes of Manchester United and Bayern Munich said to be keeping tabs on him.
Having returned to training after the World Cup and a short Christmas break, Sommer told Gladbach’s official website:
“With regards to my contract situation and my future, there were already open conversations with the club before the World Cup.
“We will resume these in the coming days as agreed.”
