Werder rule out move for Kruse

Werder Bremen will not be signing Max Kruse, says Clemens Fritz.

SV Werder Bremen head of first team football Clemens Fritz has ruled out the possibility of re-signing Max Kruse.
Kruse has been linked with a return to his ex-club after terminating his contract with Wolfsburg.

But Fritz now underlines that Werder are not interested in the veteran.

“Max is not a topic for us. We haven’t thought about him,” Fritz told Bild.

“We are not planning to make any major moves in the winter. We have to look at our financial possibilities, and we also feel we are in a good position and trust our boys.”
