Bayer Leverkusen managing director for sport Simon Rolfes has confirmed that Callum Hudson-Odoi will stay on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season.
‘The Blues’ have decided not to trigger the recall clause in the 22-year-old winger’s loan deal.
“We had assumed that Callum would stay, but now we also have the certainty that he will stay with us. That makes us happy, because he is a very important player for us,” Rolfes told Bild.
Hudson-Odoi has made 15 appearances for Leverkusen so far, racking up a goal and an assist.
