As reported by Kicker, Hoffenheim are interested in Casa Pia forward Saviour Godwin as they look to strengthen their attacking options in the second half of the season.
The Nigerian can play as a winger and has played 13 games for Casa Pia in the Liga Portugal, scoring three goals. He joined them in 2020 on a free transfer having left KSV Roeselare in Belgium. Casa Pia had originally rejected an offer from Sao Paulo for €2m for the 26-year-old. Hoffenheim have also shown interest in Sevilla forward Kasper Dolberg and are still pushing to sign the striker.
The reason for this is that both Munas Dabbur and Ihlas Bebou are out injured for Hoffenheim so they face a lack of options attacking wise. While Jacob Bruun Larsen is also at risk of leaving the club as he has not been in favour under Andre Breitenreiter.
Hoffenheim currently find themselves 11th in the Bundesliga, having originally started very strongly they proceeded to drop off at the back end of the first half of the season.
