Kicker reports that Maximilian Mittelstädt will be leaving Hertha BSC when the transfer window in January.
According to the German magazine, the 25-year-old left-back is set to join an unnamed Bundesliga club.
Mittelstädt has been linked with a move to Wolfsburg, where he could replace Jerome Roussillon, who no longer has a future at Volkswagen Arena. But whether a transfer to ‘Die Wölfe’ is really on the cards remains to be seen.
The defender, who is out of contract in the summer, has played just seven games for Hertha this season.
