Dion Beljo has spoken highly of Gladbach amid reports linking him with ‘Die Fohlen’.

Borussia Mönchengladbach were linked with NK Osijek striker Dion Beljo last summer, but never managed to get a deal over the line despite reportedly agreeing personal terms with the player.
The 20-year-old is now being touted as a possible replacement for Marcus Thuram, who is out of contract at the end of the season. Asked about the reported interest, he told Sky Germany:
“I know that Borussia Mönchengladbach have an excellent team. It’s a German club with a lot of tradition, and I follow the path of Gladbach.”
Beljo added that he feels “ready” to take the “next step” as early as January and that a move to Germany would be appealing.
“Let’s see. I believe that I’m capable of moving to the Bundesliga sooner or later. It’s a great league for a young player like me to develop. I only hear good things about the Bundesliga.”
The young striker has scored nine goals in 19 games this season.
