“There were warriors on the pitch playing with heart,” said Germany coach Hansi Flick after his team shared the spoils with Spain.

Germany coach Hansi Flick was proud of his players after his side came from behind to draw 1-1 with Spain tonight.
“We witnessed a highly interesting game,” Flick noted in an interview after the game and continued:
“I’d like to give a big compliment to the team for fighting consistently. We have a good togetherness in the squad.
“I’m very proud of how we reacted to the deficit tonight. There were warriors on the pitch playing with heart.”
