Kicker report today that Frank Kramer will be the new Schalke head coach.
Although the appointment is yet to be official, the deal has been completed and an announcement could happen on Tuesday.
Kramer was sacked as Arminia Bielefeld head coach in April 2022 but has worked under S04 sporting director Rouven Schröder during their time together at Greuther Fürth.
Schalke were relegated to the 2. Bundesliga in 2021 and returned to the top flight at the first time of asking, first under Dimitrios Grammozis and then Mike Büskens for the remainder nine games of the season.
