Cadena SER report that Manchester City’s Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus has been offered to Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid for next season.
According to the report, Jesus is asking for €5m net per season and wants to leave City as he does not see himself starting ahead of new signing Erling Haaland.
Atlético have reportedly rejected the offer and Real Madrid like the 25-year-old.
The problem with the Brazilian is that he is a non-EU player and Madrid already have all those places covered with Vinicius, Rodrygo and Éder Militão.
Vinicius’ EU passport has not yet arrived, although the club are confident that it will do so this summer, but the whole process has been slowed down. A move for Gabriel Jesus is therefore unlikely.
He wants to be a key part of a top club in order to be fit and ready for this year’s World Cup with Brazil. His contract at City expires in 2023.
