Borussia Dortmund will face Chelsea in the Champions League round of 16 after being paired with the English Premier League giants in the draw today.
At the press conference ahead of Dortmund’s Bundesliga encounter with Wolfsburg tomorrow, BVB coach Edin Terzic was asked about the draw.
“We’ll be up against a top team from England that came out on top in the 2021 Champions League final. In Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Christian Pulisic, we’ll be reunited with two players who were recently with us. I’m a very close friend of the coach Graham Potter,” Terzic said and contnued:
“We’re looking forward to the reunion and the matches. These are the kind of attractive opponents we envisage in the Champions League. Here, too, we will try to reach the next round.”
