Borussia Dortmund have had a horrid time with injuries this season. The club announced today that both Tom Rothe and Marius Wolf have been added to the ever-growing list.
Rothe has suffered a sprained bone during training this week and will be missing until at least the end of November. For Marius Wolf, the news is more serious. After extensive medical examinations, he was diagnosed with what the club called “an infection-related disturbance of the vestibular system.” The infection will see Wolf out to at least the end of the calendar year.
The two players will join ten players currently missing from BVB action. These include Sébastien Haller, Mahmoud Dahoud, Mateu Morey Bauzà, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, Marco Reus, Thomas Meunier, Raphaël Guerreiro, Abdoulaye Kamara, Gregor Kobel, and Mats Hummels.
Dortmund host VfL Bochum on Saturday.
