In a recent report, Sports Illustrated stated that Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez is attracting interest for another loan term prior to his debut for the Sky Blues in the pre-season tournament. He was bought in the January transfer window and then served a loan spell under his former team River Plate for the remainder of the season.

It has been mentioned that the Ligue 1 giants Olympique Marseille are interested to loan the Argentine forward ahead of the next season.

The youngster has had a solid campaign at River Plate scoring 32 goals and creating 6 assists over 39 appearances this season.

He has proven his worth and emerged as a deadly striker after averaging 3.1 shots, 2.1 key passes, and 2.1 dribbles, while contributing heavily in the defence with 1.0 tackles per 90 mins in the Liga Profesional.
