Borussia Dortmund are sweating over the fitness of a number of players ahead of their Champions League clash with Manchester City, including captain Marco Reus, who missed Saturday’s 5-0 victory over Stuttgart after suffering an injury setback.
“We have a few question marks,” said Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic at the pre-match press conference and added:
“Donyell Malen has probably overcome his infection and has felt better recently. We hope that he will be back. Nico Schlotterbeck, Mats Hummels and Raphael Guerreiro will hopefully be fit for action tomorrow.
“With Marco Reus, it’s a matter of days. We will decide on tomorrow morning if he’s fit enough for tomorrow.”
Dortmund will definitely have to manage without Salih Özcan, who’s suspended.
