Eric Choupo-Moting is looking like the no. 9 presence Bayern were desperately missing up front. The 33-year-old has five goals and two assists in all competitions within the last few weeks.
After the win against Hoffenheim, coach Julian Nagelsmann stated that, “Choupo played a great game once again. He’s a great striker and we’re happy that we have him. He was tired in the end, because he is not used to this rhythm of starting consecutive games.”
Serge Gnabry hilariously believes, “It’s the hair. Since he dyed his hair, things have been going well for him.”
Choupo-Moting added: “There’s no real secret. I throw everything into every training session, I train well. I trust my qualities and the qualities of the team, it’s great that everything is going well.”
The striker’s contract expires at the end of the season.
