After a draw-filled start to the season, Hertha BSC finally claimed a huge three points against Schalke on Matchday 11.

Speaking with DAZN after the game, Hertha Berlin coach Sandro Schwarz felt a huge amount of weight lifted off the team’s shoulders following the win over Schalke:
“It’s pure relief. In the past, we’ve often given up for draws, and that’s why you need experiences like today. – We showed outstanding morale at the back after the equalizer and are happy that we were able to clinch a dirty win.”
Midfielder Suat Serdar stated that, “It was one of the worse games of the season, but the main thing is three points.”
13th-place Hertha travel away to Werder Bremen on Friday before coming home to face Bayern next week.
