Lazio picked up an impressive 2-0 win over Atalanta in Bergamo to go into the top three of the Serie A.
Maurizio Sarri’s side came into the game without the injured Ciro Immobile but that didn’t bother them much, as Felipe Anderson started upfront. It was Mattia Zaccagni who handed Lazio a lead in the first half and after an impressive display, the Roman outfit got another through Anderson in the second half.
While the result takes Lazio to within two points of league leaders Napoli, it helps them keep their winning run going. Remarkably though, the last time they conceded a goal in Serie A was back in early September in their lost to Napoli themselves and they have gone 569 minutes without conceding even once.
On the way, they have beaten Verona 2-0, Cremonese 4-0, Spezia 4-0, Fiorentina 4-0 and held Udinese to a 0-0 draw as well.
